A Clinical Nutritionist is a qualified professional. They provide personalised and tailored advise on dietary and lifestyle factors, as well as potentially prescribing nutritional supplements to support your health goals. Functional pathology/testing may also be discussed.
This is achieved by completing a detailed assessment of a person’s health, including diet and lifestyle factors. They will also consider environmental factors; genetics and family history. Physical assessments may also be included in the assessment.
By providing a broad range of nutritional information that is current, scientifically based and evidence informed, a clinical nutritionist plays a critical role in nutritional education.
